I'm a natural food enthusiast, nature loving yogi and runner based in Vancouver, BC.
I'm a fourth year student of Naturopathic Medicine, and have a bachelor's degree in Human Kinetics with a concentration in nutrition. I'm also a registered yoga teacher. I've dedicated my life to the pursuit of health, happiness and balance, and for me, food is such a big part of that.
I am a gluten free, (mostly) dairy free, fish-eating vegetable lover. I've evolved to my current way of eating through extensive trial-and-error, and couldn't be happier.
I have always loved baking, but in the last few years I've expanded my passion for cooking as well. I love to "healthify" recipes and am always looking for a way to add nutritionally rich foods to every dish in a delicious way. My recipes are a reflection of my love for food and whole ingredients.
I'm a huge believer in morning coffee. What a better way to wake up than drinking a great cup of coffee, wrapped in a blanket? Pair that with my obsession with kale, and you get Kale & a Coffee. It's also kind of a beautiful thought about balance- don't give up your coffee, but have kale for lunch. Drink wine, do yoga. Eat too much dark chocolate, run a little further. Love everything you do.
